UWM Mobile

UWM is set to launch its first mobile application in time for the start of the Fall semester. The app, available for iPhone and Android devices, will feature the following functionality:

* People search - searches UWM's white pages with results allowing you to call, email, or plot the individual's office location on a map
* Campus map - pulls in various GIS information as well as foursquare venues
* Courses - students & faculty can login to see their course schedule as well as plot course locations on a map
* Shuttles - real-time GPS allows students to receive shuttle bus arrival predictions as well as view the location of buses as they move along their route on a map
* Calendar of events - pulls from PantherLink Subscription Center calendar data
* Laundry - shows the availability of washers & dryers in the residence halls' laundry facilities
* Campus Computer Labs - shows the availability of computers in campus computer labs
* Safety information - "press to dial" campus police, health center, campus escorts (BOSS), class cancellation hotline, etc.
* Quicklinks - links to mobile versions of PantherLink, D2L, Bookstore
