Solar Wings review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Solar Wings from Lace Mamba Global for the iPhone. Solar Wings is a shooter similar to the arcade classics. Playing as one of three anime characters, you avoid enemy fire and blow up their ships until you've survived all the waves...at which point, you move on. There are five worlds, lots of crazy enemy ships, lots of frustrating controls. You play the game like a twin stick shooter. Onscreen circles serve as said sticks, which works reasonably well on iOS devices at times. Solar Wings is not one of those cases.
