Well..
The grey bits are what is currently happening. The boy's mum lazes about all day and goes out at nights and makes him do work, and whenever he wants to go out she makes him feel sorry for her by bursting into tears.
The girl used to be friendly with her mum but now her mum takes no notice of her even being there.
The colour yet misty bits are flashbacks. They remember that they had an argument one night and the girl walked off.

*DON'T READ ON PAST HERE IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED THE VIDEO*

The last flashback is remembering what happened after she walked off that night, that the boy ran after her and told her he loved her. She never got the chance to say it back, untill that night (back to grey).
The end where he's walking off (white light round him)is his spirit.
