My favorite weapon is a new game on Android devices.

A game where music is in the core of gameplay, like audiosurf or guitar hero... a little explenation :

when you start a new game, you are tell to choose a file on your sdcard, which must be an mp3, wav, wma, flac or mid, when done, you must choose between four game mode, each mode will modifiy how the music affect gameplay,
in normal mode, you have six "lasers" each one related to a group of frequencies so the more your music is intense, the more you shoot.

It's a 2d side shooter, which means your ship is on the left and ennemies comes from the right, you can see example in screeshots, it's japanese style, so the area on wich enemies can hit you is very small and the goal is more of suriviving than destroying anything, however they are four difficulty level too, the easy is pretty easy you start with 4 lifes and 5 bombs, bombs is the nuclear logo on the right, if you trigger one every ennemies on screen dies, for each 100k points you made, you gain a new life, and bomb randomly appears in middle of enemies so you must catch them to gain new ones.
The others mode are bass, high and inverted, bass and inverted have a twist, the ennemies fires is triggered by music too in bass you have the low frequecies and ennemies the high, in high it's the same but you have high and ennemies have bass.
In inverted mode ennemies will be affected by music but not you, you shoot at a fixed rate, you start with 1 laser and gain 2 from each 10000 points you made, so it can be pretty hard espetialy if you choose a "metal" or "trance" music.
The goal is too survive until the end of song for each mode, the more you kill the more you gain in points. When song end, the remaining life and bomb are multiplicated and added to your score.
I am planning on adding the feint system for score, which permit to compare score with other people who have made the same song but it's not implented yet.
I hope i have provided a good explenation of what this game is.
