Scan to PDF
Check out the ADF flatbed scanner that I bought.
I've been scanning a lot of my paper documents into PDF files!
It's freeing up a LOT of space!
Things like my handwritten notes from conferences.
Technical notes I've made over the years.
Correspondence from companies that might someday be important.
And lots of things in the filing cabinet.
It even does duplex! It scans BOTH sides of the page!
with a little help to turn the stack around.
Cool!
This particular model is the Canon PIXMA MX330.
But there are lots of competitors from Lexmark, HP, Epson, Brother, etc.
When you buy such a printer/scanner/fax/copier combination,
search for the term: ADF, (automatic document feed).
Also be sure to check out the price of the ink, if you intend to
do a lot of printing with it too. Page by page, laser printers
are still much cheaper than the ink jets.
