The Powermat charges devices using inductive energy transfer technology that was first developed by Nicola Tesla back in the 19th century but they perfected this technology. Using the Powermat is also a smarter way to charge your device then using the traditional charger cord. Once the device is fully charged the Powermat shuts off saving electricity and not over charging the device.
The wireless case is also slimmer making it very stylish compared to the old bulky case before it.
