New Mom
By Seven Days
I am a postpartum nurse, I don't do labor...yet. However, I have learned so much just by being in the atmosphere. This series is basically me sharing what I have learned and think is important to know that the "lay person" may not know. I don't claim to be an expert on anything, but I have resources at my fingertips. :)
This new series I am doing is going to be about topics related to newborns, breastfeeding, labor and delivery, postpartum, what to expect in the hospital, common concerns, etc. I want to start discussions between new moms and what they experienced-- the expected and of course the unexpected.
Questions brought up in this video- Does your hospital offer L&D tours, prenatal classes, or lactation classes? What supplies to the have- pads, panties, shirts for baby, diapers, receiving blankets, formula, pacifiers etc. Do they have a lactation consultant on staff for weekends? What is the policy about seeing your baby after delivery vaginal/c-section? Who is allowed in the room at delivery?
These are just a few question out of a million you could ask! Brainstorm and write them down while you're thinking about it so that when the time comes to ask you have them on hand!
*****CONTEST*******
Come up with a title for this video series. I am hoping to continue doing this videos for a while so I'd like a catchy name that draws attention to it, is related to our topics and just sounds cool! :)
As many entries as you'd like- be as creative as you can be! Must be a subscriber! Contest ends September 15th @12pm EST.
Cant wait to see what you come up with!!
