Hide Files

This is how to hide files from the gallery and your phone without using a special app but a simple trick. If you add a photo on your SD card, normally it gets on the Gallery app too. The same with the videos. But what if we don't want them to appear on the gallery? So in that case we should put all the files we want to hide in a personal folder on our PC (exemple called Prosopika). Then we transfer the folder to our phone with drag and drop feature connecting the phone to PC with USB. Then we rename the folder on our PC from Prosopika to .prosopika (don't forget the .) That was it, the folder is now masked, Android thinks it's a system folder and you know it isn't. So it doesn't appear on the gallery nor the MyFiles file manager app preinstalled in a lot of phones.
