The "Where's a Bear" app for Android was developed by Blackbonnet LLC. The app allows users to pinpoint the location of where they have recently spotted grizzly bears, wolves, bison and other wildlife at Yellowstone National Park. The idea behind the Where's a Bear app is to allow users to improve their odds seeing wildlife while visiting Yellowstone. However, Yellowstone has spotty mobile phone coverage, which might limit the app's usefulness. Also, the data quickly becomes old as animals are likely to have moved on. Source: AP
