Galaxy War

ATTENTION: Annoying beeping sounds ahead! Turn down the volume of your speakers. This was one of the more obscure Space Invaders clone, from 1991 by one Stephen Haigh. Well, you know how to play this one, I guess. Shoot all those cuddly chirping alien ships with your annoying aircraft cannon while avoid getting hit yourself. Your life bar is visible at the top of the screen, along with your current and daily high score (no, unfortunately the score records are not saved permanently). To the low right, the current level you are in is displayed. Well, I don't think I advanced very far in the game, as my achieved scores would be forfeit anyway. Funny fact on the sounds: They would cause major havoc when running in Windows 95, as they are digitized in fact. Favorite quote out of the game: "You know it makes sense."
