Tonight at a special media event in Hong Kong, Google unveiled their latest Nexus device, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, aka the Nexus Prime. The Galaxy Nexus features a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280x720, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 5MP camera with LED flash and 1080p video recording, 1.3MP front-facing camera for video calling, NFC capabilities, and will come in both LTE and HSPA+ flavors. It's also the first device to ship with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The Samsung Galaxy Nexus will launch in early November in the US, Europe and Asia. It was initially rumored to launch here in the US on Verizon Wireless, but unfortunately Google decided not to announce any carrier or pricing details at this time.
