Fuel Prices
This is a demo video to show you around the new Fuel Prices UK app. Smartphone app developers Mubaloo have launched an app called Fuel Prices UK which will help drivers to find the cheapest fuel in their locality. The built in GPS function of the smartphone allows the user to see their position on a map and the app plots the position of the 5 cheapest, closest petrol stations. The app will then give the user directions to the fuel station they select.
To ensure the app uses the most accurate data, Mubaloo partnered with Catalist which is part of Experian, the largest provider of data in the UK. Catalists database is updated daily and provides the most up to date petrol price data (plus diesel and LPG) for over 10,000 stations across the UK. The UKs Energy Institute acknowledges Catalist as the definitive source for UK petrol station information.
