This application is useful for anyone who has passion or willingness of Indian cooking. It is created with an intention and vision to make regional cuisines of India popular and also make people to be aware of the regional cuisines, when people choose a particular dish. Acting as a handy recipe book, Flavors of India has following features:

•Advance Searching.
•Local data storage enabling fast access.
•Add/ Remove favorites.
•Review and Rate recipes with stars.
•Over 230 recipes.
•Easy navigation with veg/ non veg categorization.
•Regional cuisines.
The Application covers most popular dishes from 9 regional cuisines Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, Rajasthani, Kashmiri, Mughlai, Punjabi, Kerali and Goan. Currently main course dishes are covered in Veg and Non-veg menu and would like to add on to couple of more options in our next versions which would cover Snacks and deserts also, as said Mr. Chetan Naik, Director of CDN.
The application is categorize in 4 screens. The optional screen provides either to select the veg or the non veg category for the selected state. Listing Screen will be listed with recipes as per their rating or alphabetically with thumbnail. Detail Screen provides the rating on the top and listed ingredient details and methods of preparation for the selected dish. It also allows rating the dish and giving your comments. You can fill your review and rate the dish in the Review & Rating Screen.
