Actually, this could be done on any Windows-based OS.
For that matter, this could probably be done with Android or iOS since they have MIDI functionality as well.
Some things used in this experiment:
- Rock Band 3 MIDI pro adapter
- Samsung Series 7 Slate
- EM-U xmidi1x1 Tab
- FL Studio 10
