Data Controller

So, lately I've been watching some videos about data communication (using bluetooth) from an Android phone to an Arduino board. Those projects are awesome, you can use the Android phone as sensors (GPS, Accelerometer, Internet, SMS, PhoneCall, etc) for a robot and the Arduino board as interfaces for controlling other hardware (motor, servo, etc).

But bluetooth interface for microcontroller is not cheap and its operation is not as simple as phone-to-phone bluetooth communication. So, rather than used a bluetooth interface for microcontroller, I used my laptop to do serial communication with my microcontroller board. My phone sends TCP packets to my laptop, and my laptop translates them into a serial datas so my microcontroller board can understand it. As simple as that.
