Here is a description of a mobile platform that is remote controlled over Internet WLAN or mobile phone network.
Skype video call is started from PC to iPhone and dial pad is used in Skype to generate tones.
On another side the cellbot is connected to headphone output of iPhone. MT8870 chip decodes DTMF tones and passes to Arduino board that controlls servos. Wheel servos are modified for continuous rotation.
Options that currently do not work:
Android phones do not have video in Skype.
Call between two iPhones - no dial tone pad available.
