Overview of the Cellbots for Android open source Java application. It can drive four robot platforms: iRobot Create, LEGO MINDSTORMS, VEX Pro, and custom Arduino cellbots.
This video shows the four mode of using an Android phone to be the brain of a robot or drive it like a remote control. We also cover the web interface and yes, that's a Chrome OS Cr-48 notebook ;-)
The phones used are a Nexus One and Nexus S, but any Android 2.2 (Froyo) and up phone should work. Get the app from the Android Market or head to Cellbots.com to learn more and get links to the source code.
