To prove a point to a Android loving friend of mine, I'm making an app that's basically exactly the counterpart of Chrome to Phone, i.e. Safari to iPhone!

This is a proof-of-concept of this app, basically it utilizes the Apple Push Notification Service to send the page you're currently reading to your iPhone.

Sorry about the blurring and all, I don't have an extra cam with me, so I had to record with MacBook's iSight and in a very awkward position to control my computer, :P

This demonstrates:

- Push a "normal" webpage
- Push Google Map page to Map.app
- Push YouTube page to YouTube.app
- Push App Store page to App Store.app

The plan WAS to fork chrometophone and make it work with iPhone, however because of the whole difference between architectures of APNS and Google's C2DM (esp. APNS requires direct and persistant SSL socket connection, which is not available on App Engine infrastructure) , I end up with a Rails based solution.
