Archos 2 - Gadget Help

Quick look at what is probably the cheapest Froyo experience available (outside of a contract cellular device of course!) in Archos's new 28 internet tablet. For $99, its really quite cheap, with 4GB of storage, a 2.8" screen and a not so shabby 600Mhz ARM Cortex processor, and, while the resistive screen was responsive, its no match for the full capacitive interaction crucial to some of the OS's interactions. But at that price, its a lot in a small package! There are two other models in the series, the 32, which boasts a larger 3.2" screen, processor bump to 800Mhz ARM Cortex, VGA camera and Bluetooth 2.1, which should retail at $149, and the Archos 43, which, as the name implies, has a 4.3" screen (again resistive..) a 1Ghz ARM Cortex , Micro SD slot for storage expansion, HD camera etc. See archos.com for more.
