2012 New Orleans Saints

By Localz 2 mobile, LLC

Drew Brees, more than a football player, a Most Valuable Person, an individual who is active in the New Orleans community trying to make life better for others. Jim Henderson of WWL recently wrote a commentary following Brees breaking the Dan Marino passing yardage season record entitled "You Gotta See the Special Man" which is a catchphrase that older generations relate to a local business. Henderson described that Drew Brees means more to New Orleans and the people of Louisiana as a person than as a quarterback. This compilation looks at some of Drew Brees's accomplishments and shows another example in positive attitude from former Saint Steve Gleason who is fighting ALS, Lou Gehrig's Disease. Like Brees, Gleason gave back to others such as participating in Locks of Love. Gleason is probably most remembered by non Saints fans as the player blocking the punt against the Atlanta Falcons in the first Super Dome game following Hurricane Katrina. Drew Brees = NFL, Professional athlete, and positive role model, hero, for both adults and children. Thank you Drew and the New Orleans Saints.
